The King’s Royal Hussars Polo Match

Moor Farm Polo Club is delighted to welcome the King’s Royal Hussars to play a polo match against their ‘old boys’.  The match will start at 1400 with a bar and BBQ available before and after the match.  Entry is free to the public and as always, dress for the weather.

 

Beginners match – Sunday 13 August

All beginners that have started to learn to play polo this season at Moor Farm will be playing each other on Sunday 13 August.  This 2 Chukka match will start at 1100 there will be a bar and BBQ before and after the match.  Entry is free to the public  but dress for the weather.

 

26 August – Polo Tournament.   1600 Start. More details to follow.

 

27 August - Beginners tournament at Longdole Polo Club.  Following our own match, the beginners will be heading to Longdole to play their beginners teams in Gloucestershire.

 

23 September - Charity Corporate day to raise money for the Hope House charity.  A pre-booked 3 Course meal available for £25 each on tables of 10.  Ring the shop for more details if you want to enter a team in either bike polo or pony polo.

 

30 September - Ladies Tournament and end of Season Party.  Watch all female teams play for a Cup.  Following the presentation, we will roll straight into the end of season party.  More details to follow.

 

Don't forget Will is running Chukkas on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.  Everyone is very welcome to watch if you’re not playing and enjoy the fun.  An honesty bar is operation so make sure you bring a driver!!  Just call 07494 114190 to confirm the timings. 

 

Bicycle Polo

Moor Farm Bicycle Polo Club was established in May 2016. 

Bicycle Polo is a fun, team sport that gets you fit and is suitable for all ages over 16.  This Polo is a team sport, similar to traditional polo, except that bicycles are used instead of horses. There are 2 versions of the sport: grass and Hardcourt Bike Polo. Here at Moor farm we play grass polo. 

Come over to Moor Farm to enjoy lessons, games or just watch.  Lessons are suitable for ages 16 and over and the fully licenced bar helps you recover!!

Costs:
 Membership = £60 per year (01 Apr – 31 Mar)
 Membership for U18 and full time students is £25 per year
 1Hr Private Lesson for Members £15; non-members £20
 1 Hr Group lessons (2-8 people): Members £10; non-members £15
