At midday on Easter Saturday the gates at Moor Farm Shop, Baschurch, opened to an endless stream of people until closing at 6pm.

A Busy Opening Day at Moor Farm Shop
The visitors to the shop enjoyed beautifully cooked Hereford Beef and Gloucester Old Spot Pork, whilst sitting on benches in the sunshine. Marcus Bean, Iron Chef UK, from The New Inn in Baschurch, was busy preparing delicious recipes all afternoon for visitors to sample. Marcus made Scotch Eggs using Moor Farm Gloucester Old Spot pork and eggs from their own Warren hens. Moor Farm Free Range lamb was used inside Spicy Lamb Samosas.
The shop was open for business with a wide range of products available to taste. Many items sold out - lamb burgers were all gone by 1.30pm!
Children enjoyed feeding the animals; Hereford cattle, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Warren hens and new born lambs. It was the perfect place to be on a sunny Easter Saturday in Shropshire.

Elaine Timmis commented; "We were absolutely delighted to see so many people here on our opening day. We had a great deal of support from regular customers and saw new faces who we hope will come back again to visit Moor Farm Shop."
