Gloucester Old Spot Pork

Pork is a very versatile meat and having our own Gloucester Old Spot pigs allows us to make many delicious products; sausages, bacon, black pudding, pork pies and just simple pork. The pigs run outside all year round with an arc to go into, outside in the field, when they are looking for shelter. Again, as with our beef, we have complete quality and recipe control - tasting new creations is the fun part! Our Gloucester Old Spot pork, Shropshire honey and Colman's English mustard sausages were commended by HEFF (Heart of England Fine Foods) in 2010 The West Midlands Tastiest Sausage competition as were our smoked Bacon and Black Pudding sausages and our Breakfast sausages were awarded Shropshire’s Tastiest breakfast sausage with a Gold Award. More of our creative creations include Pork and Chocolate-yum! And Pork with a hint of Haggis for Burns Night.


At various times of the year we have piglets on the farm. On our Open Farm Sunday in June you are able to walk down to see the pigs.
